Delta Force Targets Operator Balance, Gizmo Nerfed, Console Crashes Fixed

Delta Force has released a new no-downtime update addressing community feedback on combat balance, specifically targeting an overabundance of gadgets, easily exposed information, and a reduced emphasis on gunplay. The developers aim to ensure Operator gadgets complement gunplay rather than replace it, preserving distinct tactical identities while maintaining fair and exciting firefights.

Recent additions like Gizmo, N-Two, Raptor, and Morse were designed to expand tactical choices. However, some abilities, particularly complex control gadgets and one-sided information tools, have led to situations where counterplay is unclear or frustrating. The current update seeks to rebalance these interactions, providing players with more reasonable ways to respond without undermining an Operator's core role.
This week's adjustments begin with Gizmo, with further Operator changes planned for the coming weeks.
Operator Balance Adjustments
【Operator - Gizmo】
Developer Note: "When suppressed by multiple Crawlers, it can be difficult to fight back effectively through gunplay, creating more pressure than intended in certain scenarios. This adjustment is designed to reduce the combat pressure of facing multiple Crawlers while fully preserving Gizmo’s standard gameplay experience."
All Modes
- Crawler Nest: Added a new mechanic: Crawler Corrosion Damage Resistance
- After taking damage from 3 Crawlers in quick succession, players will gain Corrosion Damage Resistance for a period of time. While the resistance is active, explosion damage taken from Crawlers will be greatly reduced.
Console Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where some console models could occasionally crash.
The Delta Force team will continue to monitor match data and player feedback, making further adjustments as needed.
