Valve has released a new Counter-Strike 2 update focusing on gameplay adjustments, armory visibility, and various bug fixes.
Gameplay Changes
The most significant changes revolve around the C4 explosion mechanics. The update removes the map-wide minimum one point of damage from new C4 explosions, ensuring damage is now more localized and accurate. It also fixes incorrect damage calculations near map area boundaries and increases the force applied to dropped weapons by C4 explosions, potentially creating new tactical scenarios.
Armory & Miscellaneous Fixes
In the armory, the "Sniper Ahead" sticker has received an adjustment to its visibility when scraped. Additionally, the update addresses several miscellaneous issues, including a fix for season medals missing their gold tint on one of the bars and a crucial fix preventing the scoreboard from updating while open. Various stability improvements have also been implemented.
