Valve has rolled out a new update for Counter-Strike 2, bringing several minor adjustments across gameplay, animations, and miscellaneous fixes.
Gameplay Improvements
The update includes an adjustment to ground smoothing in areas where players can stand on very thin ledges. This change aims to improve player movement and prevent unintended interactions in such specific environmental spots.
Animation Refinements
In the realm of visuals, viewmodel animations have received minor adjustments. These tweaks are designed to enhance the fluidity and realism of how weapons and hands appear on screen during gameplay.
Miscellaneous Fixes and Limitations
Beyond gameplay and animations, the patch addresses several other points:
- Corrected some improper character texture assignments. This ensures that character models display their intended textures correctly.
- Trade offers containing Counter-Strike 2 items are now limited to 1,000 items. This new restriction aims to streamline the trading system and potentially mitigate issues related to large-scale trade offers.
