Marvel Rivals July 23 Patch: New Thebes Map, Esports Features, and Blood Hunt Expansion
Marvel Rivals is set to release its Version 20260723 patch on July 23rd, 2026, at 09:00:00 (UTC). This update brings a new map, significant esports feature enhancements, Blood Hunt mode expansions, and new store content.
All-New Content
New Map: Thebes
The latest battlefield, Thebes, pits players against a backdrop of ancient Egyptian ruins and Celestial technology. The map features Apocalypse's Pyramid and the Temple of Khonshu, with a narrative focusing on Khonshu's struggle to reclaim stolen faith and Moon Knight's suspicions regarding the Faith-Harvesting Engine.
Esports
The Esports tab receives a major overhaul with a new Subscription feature. Players can now subscribe to their favorite tournaments, teams, and pro players. A new Calendar view allows tracking match schedules, league standings, active brackets, and historical records. Notifications can be enabled to alert players when subscribed matches go live.
Blood Hunt
The Blood Hunt mode sees several upgrades to enhance player power and progression:
- Gear Enhancement: Existing gear can now be enhanced for higher stat bonuses.
- Gear Refining: Reroll specific stats on gear to optimize hero builds.
- New Drop - Dew of Insight: Enemies will now drop this item, granting an instant burst of EX to a chosen hero.
- Nightmare Difficulty Expanded: The difficulty cap has been pushed to Floor 300. Clearing Floor 260 with any hero rewards 100 Units (one reward per hero).
Event Duration Adjustments:
- Blood Hunt Double XP event extended to October 5th, 2026, 09:00:00 (UTC).
- Blood Hunt mode extended to October 9th, 2026, 09:00:00 (UTC).
New In Store
New bundles and customization options will be available from July 24th, 2026, at 02:00:00 (UTC):
- Psylocke - Pinned Butterfly Bundle (includes a free customization option to remove the chin decoration)
- Hela - Consort of Khonshu Bundle
- Hela - Consort of Khonshu Chroma Midnight Moon/Sapphire Shadow and Ultimate Ability VFX
Twitch Drops
To celebrate the Marvel Rivals Mid-Season Finals, exclusive Twitch Drops will be available from July 29th, 2026, 17:00:00 to August 29th, 2026, 17:00:00 (UTC). Rewards include the Daredevil - IGNITE Daredevil (2026) costume and related bundle content, along with special Moods, Emojis, and commemorative Nameplates.
Fixes and Optimizations
Heroes
- Spectator's Spectral Screencast: Fixed UI anomalies that occurred when spectating a defeated hero after being KO'd.
- Punisher's Turret Tally: Corrected an issue where the ammo count for The Punisher's Culling Turret was not displaying correctly.
Team-Up VFX Toggle
A new settings option allows players to enable or disable Team-Up visual effects on their screen. This setting can be applied universally or customized per hero.
Other
- Weaponized Wardrobe: Addressed an issue where Angela, Daredevil, and Gambit had incorrect weapon assets equipped on some costumes.
