Destiny 2's upcoming Monument of Triumph update, launching on June 9, is set to introduce significant changes across the game, with new details emerging on Crucible tuning, Pantheon rewards, and extensive weapon reworks.
Weapons, Artifacts, & Focusing Preview
The Dev Team has outlined a comprehensive overhaul for weapons, the Artifact, and vendor systems. Key changes include:
- New Weapon Tier Upgrading system: This system will allow players to enhance their weapons further.
- Tier Upgrading for crafted weapons: Crafted weapons will also benefit from the new tier system.
- Exotic Buffs: Many Exotics are receiving buffs, including Anarchy, The Lament, and Vex Mythoclast. This also includes new Catalysts and improvements for existing ones.
- Legendary Weapon Balance:
- An overall buff to Primary weapon damage in PvE.
- Targeted buffs to most Special weapons for PvE.
- Legendary Perk Fixes and Buffs: Numerous Legendary perks will see fixes and enhancements.
- Artifact 2.0: A highly customizable Artifact 2.0 is coming, featuring:
- New ways to counter Champions.
