Frequently Asked Questions

What is a good reaction time for gaming?
Most FPS pro players average between 150–180ms. The average human reaction time is around 200–250ms. Anything under 200ms is considered above average for gaming.
Can I improve my reaction time?
Yes. Regular practice with aim trainers and reaction tests can improve your response time by 10–30ms over weeks. Sleep, hydration, and reducing screen latency (higher refresh rate, lower input lag) also help.
Does monitor refresh rate affect reaction time?
A higher refresh rate (144Hz, 240Hz) reduces the delay between your input and what you see on screen. This won't change your biological reaction time, but it reduces the total input-to-display latency, giving you a real advantage.
Why is my reaction time different each attempt?
Human reaction time naturally varies by 20–50ms between attempts due to focus, anticipation, and neural processing. That's why we show your best and average across multiple attempts for a more accurate picture.
