The Finals has released Update 10.9.0, bringing a host of new content, events, and crucial balance adjustments. This update reintroduces a classic World Tour event, a new Event Pass, a fresh DLC, and Twitch Drops, alongside numerous bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements.
World Tour: Risk & Reward TDM

The popular Risk & Reward event returns, this time integrated into Team Deathmatch. Players can earn extra cash based on their chosen weapon and gadget loadout, encouraging experimentation and strategic play beyond comfort zones.
Event Pass: Safehouse Standard

ALFA ACTA presents the new Safehouse Standard Event Pass, featuring 16 items. Highlights include weaponry with a "Trespassers Rejected" counter and the "Deadbolt Directive" outfit, inspired by Loretta “Deadbolt” McJohnson. This pass focuses on home-defense themed cosmetics.
Social Update: Party Invite
A new "Open to Join" party invite setting has been implemented. When enabled, friends of any party member can join directly, including Discord users with linked Embark IDs. This setting is off by default, allowing players to control their party privacy more effectively.
DLC: Data Crusader

The Data Crusader DLC is now available, offering a new aesthetic with "darksteel and precision" and includes 2400 Multibucks.
Twitch Drops: Stream Tangerine

The Stream Tangerine Set returns as Twitch Drops until June 11, 2026. Players can earn:
- 1 hour watch time: SH1900 skin
- 2 hours watch time: Model 1887 skin
- 4 hours watch time: M60 skin
Store: Cut To The Bone Set

The new Cut To The Bone Set has been added to the store, offering a macabre aesthetic for contestants looking to stand out.
Balance Changes
- Breach Drill: Cooldown decreased from 20s to 15s. This aims to increase its uptime and make it more appealing for Medium players.
- Vanishing Bomb: Cooldown increased from 22s to 25s. This change addresses its high usage rate and player frustration regarding Light class invisibility uptime without the Cloaking Device. Developers will continue to monitor its performance.

- Audio: Addressed missing or overlapping sounds for Defibrillator, Hover Pad, Recurve Bow, Zipline, general gameplay, and UI elements.
