PUBG: Battlegrounds Unleashes Xeno Point PvE Mode and Teases Stellar Blade Crossover

PUBG: Battlegrounds is expanding its universe with a major new PvE roguelite mode, Xeno Point, and a surprising collaboration with Stellar Blade.

Xeno Point: A New PvE Roguelite Experience

A mysterious alien invasion has struck Miramar, introducing Xeno Point, an all-new cooperative PvE roguelite mode. Players must team up to fight back against unknown entities unleashed by an alien vessel, the “Construct,” with the ultimate goal of reaching the Mothership and defeating the Architect.

Key Features of Xeno Point:

• Gameplay Flow: Sessions begin in a HUB, where teams clear sectors, return to the HUB, and decide the next objective. Difficulty levels (Normal, Hard, Impossible) offer varied progression, with higher difficulties opening more sectors from the start.
• Missions: Players complete objectives while battling waves of Xenos, unlocking sector doors. Progress resets upon player death, but Supers, Blue Chip Skills, and unspent resources are retained.
• Cooperative Play: Teams can monitor each other's stats, share items, coordinate Supers, and revive downed teammates. Failure occurs if all members are downed.
• Supers & Blue Chip Skills:
  • Supers: Powerful, rechargeable abilities crafted and upgraded using Fragments at the Crafting Station. Synergies between Supers are encouraged.
  • Blue Chip Skills: Provide stat boosts and combat bonuses, purchased and refunded with Skill Points at the Crafting Station, allowing for flexible skill tree adjustments.
• Difficulty: Progress through Normal, Hard, and Impossible difficulties by purchasing the Difficulty Amplifier Skill after defeating the boss on the previous level. Higher difficulties yield better equipment.
• Resources: Earn Skill Points, Fragments, and unique gear by eliminating enemies and completing missions. The Xeno Cannon, a signature weapon, deals increased damage to Xenos and uses exclusive ammo.
• Bosses: Each sector concludes with a powerful Sector Commander. The ultimate challenge is defeating the Architect on the Mothership. Bosses and enemies have unique weaknesses, encouraging strategic weapon and Super usage.
