Operation Mooncrash: Team Fortress 2 Community Project Takes Aim at the Moon
TF2 Painter's Workshop has launched Operation Mooncrash, a new community project designed to revive and expand upon the Moon Base theme within Team Fortress 2. In a narrative where RED and BLU race for global dominance by conquering the final frontier, players are encouraged to contribute to a new community collection.
The project is seeking a wide array of content for inclusion, including:
- Cosmetics
- War paints
- Maps
- Weapons
- Weapon unusuals
- Map assets
- And more
Contests for Specific Item Types
Alongside the general collection, TF2 Painter's Workshop is hosting contests for two specific item categories:
- War Paint Contest: This contest features categories for both Standard and Limited Skins/UV/Dragon Slayer war paints.
- Map Asset Contest: Participants can contribute assets such as posters, world textures, gameplay assets, environment assets, and detail props. This contest includes five subcategories with five initial prize placements.
Creators can still submit their war paints and map assets to the broader community collection even if they have already reached the maximum contest entry limit. To participate and help shape the future of Team Fortress 2's lunar theme, players can join the TF2 Painter's Workshop Discord server.
