Marvel Rivals Season 7.5: Black Cat Joins the Roster, New Lore & Events

Marvel Rivals Season 7.5 is now live, introducing Black Cat as the newest playable hero. The update, which began on April 17th, 2026, at 09:00 UTC, continues the narrative from Season 7.0, where Spider-Man rescued heroes from The Vault while Black Cat delivered a tablet to Kingpin, only to discover his backer is the demonic Gilded Saint.

Rank Rewards

Players who reach Gold Rank will unlock the new Black Cat - Beguiling Blue costume.

Fixes and Optimizations

Clobberin' Club

• Duel invitations can now be sent directly via the Player menu in the Times Square chat channel.
• Added a new rule for all Duel Modes: [Assign Selectable Roles], allowing customization of available heroes by role type.
• Added a new rule for Random mode: Mirror Type, with options for Full Mirror, Role Mirror, and No Mirror.
• Private Duels can now be initiated while matchmaking, with the Duel automatically interrupting upon finding a match.
• A queue info guide screen has been added at the entrance of the Clobberin' Club.

All Platforms

• Esports Optimization: The player page now supports visual crosshair displays, allowing users to view and copy pro players' Favorite Reticle visual effects.

Other

• Mantis Makeover: Fixed an issue where eyebrows on the Mantis - Oceanic Harmony costume were displaying incorrectly.
• Chat Decoded: Fixed an issue where messages with special characters might not display correctly in chat.
