Team Falcons has made history, claiming their first Major Championship at the IEM Cologne 2026 Major after navigating the toughest Playoff bracket in the event's history.
Falcons' Dominant Playoff Run
The Falcons' journey to the trophy began with a challenging Quarterfinal match against the defending Major Champions, Vitality. They emerged victorious with a 2-1 scoreline, with each map pushing to 24 rounds. The Semifinals presented another formidable opponent in Team Spirit. In a grueling best-of-three series, two maps went into Overtime before the Falcons ultimately outlasted Team Spirit 16:12 on Dust II, securing a 2-1 series win and their inaugural Grand Finals appearance.
In the Grand Finals, Team Falcons left no room for doubt, delivering a decisive 3-0 victory over FURIA to clinch the organization's first Major Championship. This triumph marks a significant milestone for the team, solidifying their place among Counter-Strike's elite.
