Counter-Strike 2 Unleashes Dead Hand Collection & Map Fixes
Valve has just rolled out a significant update for Counter-Strike 2, introducing the all-new Dead Hand Collection and implementing several map adjustments.
Dead Hand Collection
The highlight of this update is the Dead Hand Collection, featuring 17 unique weapon finishes contributed by the community. Alongside these finishes, players can now acquire 22 all-new gloves as rare special items, offering fresh cosmetic options to personalize their loadouts.
These exclusive items are accessible via the Dead Hand Terminal, which is now available as a potential weekly drop. Players eager to get their hands on these new cosmetics will need to keep an eye out for the terminal in their weekly rewards.
Map Updates
Beyond the new collection, the update also includes important fixes and updates for two maps:
- Dust II: A pixel gap in a door Outside Long has been fixed, addressing a minor visual and potential gameplay exploit.
- Alpine: The map has been updated to its latest version from the Community Workshop, ensuring players experience the most current iteration of this community-favorite environment.
