Valve just shipped a Counter-Strike 2 update introducing the Cologne 2026 Major Ranked Series stickers, alongside several map updates and crucial bug fixes.
Cologne 2026 Major: Ranked Series Stickers
The new Ranked Series stickers for the Cologne 2026 Major are now available. These stickers indicate a team's final standing in the tournament design. As with all items in the Cologne 2026 Shop, 50% of the royalties generated from sales will be shared with players, teams, and the tournament organizer.
Valve noted that the original dynamic pricing system for stickers didn't produce reasonable prices. The new Ranked stickers feature a lower price point, but maintain the same relationship between player and team values as the Event Series stickers (as of today's update).

The Cologne 2026 Shop, including these new stickers, will remain open for purchases until September 29th.
Map Updates
Several community maps have received updates to their latest versions from the Community Workshop:
- Boulder
- Fachwerk
- Shelter
Bug Fixes and Miscellaneous Improvements
The update also addresses several technical issues:
- Map Scripting: Fixed a bug where scripts would fail to load in tools mode until a manual recompile.
- Collection Catalog: Fixed an issue preventing some users from claiming Collection Catalog XP for The Dead Hand Collection.
- Security: Fixed a critical bug that allowed malicious players to avoid being processed by VACnet.
