
Valve has released a new update for Counter-Strike 2, focusing primarily on animation improvements within the animgraph_2_beta build. Players can opt into this beta build to experience the changes and provide feedback directly to Valve.
Animgraph 2 Improvements
The update addresses several animation-related issues, aiming to create a smoother and more consistent visual experience for players:
- Fixed wrong pose when backing into corners
- Improved stuttering of 3rd person aim
- Fixed main menu pistol poses
- Added missing knife draw animations
- Fix pop when running and switching weapons
- Fix pop when switching weapons after throwing a grenade
- Fixed head wobbling when planting C4
- Fixed issue when holding inspect and changing weapons
Other Fixes
Beyond animation, one gameplay-related bug was also resolved:
- Fixed a case where it was possible to climb down ladders faster than before.
