Apex Legends Investigates Slomo Servers, Reverts Battlepass Badge Fixes

Apex Legends developers are actively investigating an increase in 'slomo servers', where matches run sluggishly. The team's investigation indicates that players likely began experiencing this issue more frequently around April 10th. Developers are continuing to work on a solution and will provide updates as they become available.

Recent Bug Fixes and Reversions

In a separate update, a couple of quick bug fixes were pushed live, though they were later reverted due to unforeseen issues:

  • The 28.1 Battlepass Badge was intended to progress beyond level 60, and a fix was implemented to address this.
  • The Zero Strike skydive emote image was displaying incorrectly, which was also addressed.

However, these fixes were quickly rolled back. At 5:58 PM PT, the developers announced that they had to revert these changes as there were still issues with badge progression. A new solution is being worked on, and more information will be shared once it's available.
