Apex Legends has rolled out its Overclocked update, introducing a new Legend, a Mythic universal melee weapon, Battle Pass content, and significant quality-of-life changes, alongside critical bug fixes.
New Legend: Axle
Hit the throttle with Axle, the combat racer focused on high-skill movement and aggressive play. Her kit includes:
- Drift: Increased slide control.
- Nitro Gate: Deploys a gate to launch into a boosted slide.
- Kickstart Ultimate: Deploys an enemy-seeking drone.
Gameplay Updates
- Deathbox Respawns: Squadmates can now be revived directly at their deathbox with a short cast, eliminating the need to hunt for a beacon.
- Legend Updates:
- Conduit: Gains dual Radiant Transfer charges, improved Energy Barricade jammers, and new barrier-boosting upgrades.
- Vantage: Receives a new 2x canted sight on Sniper’s Mark, improved Echo Relocation mobility, passive Ultimate charging with Spotter’s Scope, and team-tracking upgrades.

Overclocked Battle Pass & Mythic Melee
The Overclocked Premium Battle Pass Split 1 offers new rewards, including prototype Legendary skins for Conduit and Crypto, the Legendary "Energy Efficient" Nemesis weapon skin, the Reactive "Electrification" RE-45, and 10 Exotic Shards.
Players can also acquire the new Twin Razors Mythic Universal Melee weapon, featuring rotating laser blades. These dual melee weapons are available as a possible drop in Overclocked Seasonal Packs throughout the season.
Ranked Map Rotations Adjusted
Ranked play across all regions will now feature 4.5-hour map rotations. This permanent change aims to increase map variety and allow players to engage with their favorite maps more frequently within a single play session, based on positive sentiment from previous East Asia server tests.
