Apex Legends Update: Power Trip Fixes and Solo-Queue Postponed

Respawn Entertainment just pushed an update for Apex Legends on June 9, 2026, addressing several key issues and adjusting the solo-queue test schedule.

Power Trip Event Fixes

The update primarily focuses on rectifying problems within the Power Trip event. Players can now experience the 'Blind Box' round modifier as intended, which had previously been deactivated.

Additionally, a bug where weapons granted during 'Red Handed' rounds would persist in death boxes after the round's conclusion has been resolved. This ensures a fairer gameplay experience and prevents unintended weapon retention.

Solo-Queue Test Postponement

Respawn has also confirmed that the solo-queue test, which was briefly enabled, has been disabled and postponed to later in the current split. This aligns with the developers' initial intentions for its rollout, suggesting further refinement or strategic timing for its reintroduction.
