Apex Legends June 5 Update: Collision Fixes, Ability Deployments, and Performance Boosts
Guildfy·

Respawn Entertainment has rolled out a new update for Apex Legends on June 5, 2026, addressing several critical issues impacting gameplay, performance, and player experience across various platforms.
Map and Ability Fixes
The update primarily focuses on resolving environmental and ability-related bugs that have been affecting strategic play. Players will find improvements in two key areas:
- E-District Stadium: Missing collision on structures near the Stadium in the E-District has been resolved, preventing players from falling through or interacting unexpectedly with the environment.
- Olympus Clinic: Areas within the Clinic on Olympus where placeable abilities could not be deployed properly have been fixed. This impacts abilities such as Newcastle's Castle Wall, Alter's Void Nexus, and other similar deployables, ensuring they function as intended in this location.
Character and Performance Adjustments
Several character-specific and general performance issues have also been targeted in this patch:
- Vantage: An issue where Vantage's target unlock sound effect could be heard by unintended players has been corrected, improving audio clarity and competitive fairness.
- Conduit: Players using Conduit should no longer experience FPS drops, leading to a smoother gameplay experience for the character.
Platform-Specific Resolutions
Finally, the update addresses a critical issue for console players:
- PS4/PS5: PlayStation players who were stuck in an update loop should now be able to proceed with the game without further interruption.
