Apex Legends Unleashes Cyberpunk Event: Night City E-District and New Cyberware Mods
Apex Legends has launched its new Cyberpunk Event, transforming the Outlands into the Night City E-District. This new environment features towering neon skyboxes, holographic koi, and glitched signage, immersing players in a cyberpunk aesthetic.
New Cyberware Mods
The event introduces two new Cyberware mods for the Wildcard mode:
- Sandevistan: Grants quick dashes in any direction. Players can chain two dashes before touching the ground to close gaps or escape danger.
- Blackwall Breach: Allows players to phase into the Net for repositioning, then unleash a disruptive EMP upon returning.
Cyberpsychosis Mechanic
A new Cyberpsychosis mechanic is also in play. Using Cyberware fills a Cyberware Capacity meter. Maxing it out triggers full Cyberpsycho mode, granting high movement speed and devastating melee damage, but disabling weapons, abilities, shields, and ordnance. Players can manage or reverse Cyberpsychosis using Immunoblocker Syringes found across the map or Immunoblocker Caches that fully reset the meter.
Mythic Skippy Alternator
Players can hunt down the Mythic Skippy Alternator, which features two modes: "Puppy Loving Pacifist" and "Stone Cold Killer." Skippy provides unique dialogue based on the chosen mode. The weapon can be upgraded with Exotic Shards to unlock new visuals, ordnance skins, and knock effects.
Event Rewards
Throughout the event, players can earn Eddies to spend in the Reward Shop. Highlights include:
- An Arasaka Epic Valkyrie Skin
- A Kang-Tao Epic Mirage Skin
- 8 new Legend Skins for Axle, Sparrow, Lifeline, Crypto, Rampart, Loba, Ash, and Gibraltar.
- 8 new Weapon Skins for the Wingman, Charge Rifle, Mastiff, L-STAR, P2020, RE-45, R-301, and Kraber.
