Apex Legends: Ascended Hunt Event Unleashes Godly Powers and New Gibraltar Prestige Skin
Apex Legends is set to launch the Ascended Hunt Event, running from August 18 to September 8. This event introduces ancient powers to the Arena, allowing Legends to gain supernatural speed, steal health, and enhance combat abilities.
Players will earn Marks throughout the event to claim special items and can acquire Gibraltar's new golden Prestige Skin, "Apex Bruddah."
Wildcard: Ascended Hunt
The event features the new Wildcard: Ascended Hunt mode, where players evolve their powers in battle. Upon dropping, players select an EVO Enhancing Wild Card and level it up by collecting EVO. These Wild Cards offer various enhancements:
- EVO Enhancing Hipfire: Tightens hipfire spread
- EVO Enhancing Crits: Increases crit chance
- EVO Enhancing Shield Regen: Boosts shield regeneration
- EVO Enhancing Lifesteal: Grows lifesteal percentage
- EVO Enhancing Mantle Boosts: Launches higher and farther when Mantle Boosting
- EVO Enhancing Slide Boosts: Slides further and faster
Additional Wild Card slots unlock as the match progresses, allowing players to stack and level up abilities to dominate the final circle.
Fresh Hunting Grounds
The Wildcard map rotation will include Kings Canyon, E-District, and Broken Moon, offering new territories for players to explore and conquer.
Gibraltar Prestige Skin
The event's ultimate reward is Gibraltar's new "Apex Bruddah" Prestige Skin. This golden armor features an elemental fire design, a custom Finisher, and a unique Dive Trail, signifying Gibraltar's ascension to demigod status.
New Event Items
The Ascended Hunt Event introduces 24 new cosmetic items, including Legendary skins for Valkyrie, Conduit, Wraith, Alter, Lifeline, and Horizon. Weapon skins for the R-301, Havoc, Alternator, L-STAR, Bocek, and 30-30 Repeater will also be available.
These new skins can be found in the limited-time Ascended Hunt Collection via the Store tab or as drops in Event Packs from August 18 to September 8.
Reward Shop
Players can earn Marks to unlock items from the Ascended Hunt Reward Shop, which includes an Epic Mad Maggie Skin, a new Banner Frame, and Event Packs.
