Delta Force Mid-Season Update: Soccer & Rice Dumpling Events, New Mode, and Balance Changes

Delta Force is rolling out a mid-season update on May 21, introducing a host of new events, a new game mode, and significant balance adjustments for operators and weapons. The update will be applied without downtime, ensuring continuous gameplay.

Operations Events

The update kicks off several new operations events, many with a soccer theme:

Mid-Season Sign-in Rewards (May 22 – May 31): Daily logins will grant rewards including the AKS-74 - Warrior Spirit and TurBrick - Tarot Cards.
Find the Iridescent Soccer Ball (May 22 – June 29): Players can dig through treasure piles across all maps for a chance to find the limited Iridescent Soccer Ball, earning Operations EXP for completing in-match treasure hunting tasks.
Hot Zone (May 22 – June 29): Play Hot Zone mode and complete matches to earn Event EXP and rewards.
Mid-Season Fever (May 22 – June 4): Complete event missions to collect Rice Dumplings, which can be exchanged for rewards in the in-game store.
Encounter Soccer Ball (May 22 – June 29): Play solo or squad up to complete tasks, rack up match time, and earn event rewards.
Rice Dumpling Drop (May 22 – June 4): Take down special forces or bosses, or search courier boxes for a chance to score Rice Dumplings, Armament Vouchers, and more.
Limited Red Collection Pack (May 22 – June 4): Rice Dumplings can be exchanged for rewards on the event main page.

Warfare mode also receives new content:

New Mode: Vanguard (May 22 – June 11): Establish a bridgehead and lead your squad on A/D maps. Complete in-match missions for rewards like Calling Card - Shades of Vlinder, Armament Vouchers, and Premium Weapon EXP Tokens. Participants will also earn Mid-Season Update Event XP.
Wild Red Envelopes (May 22 – June 4): Engage in pure melee combat. Rice Dumplings scattered across the battlefield can be key to victory. Earn Armament Vouchers and Mid-Season Update Event XP.

The Scarlet Spoils Bundle returns on Console, Vietnam Servers, and Mobile from May 22 to June 18, featuring firearm appearances (AKM, ASh-12, S12K), spray paints, avatars, and calling cards.

Operator Balance Adjustments

Luna (Operations): GE2 Frag Grenade max armor penetration reduced from 110 to 100, with slightly reduced penetration against Tier 3 and 4 armor.
Uluru (Operations): Loitering Munition cooldown reduced from 120s to 90s.
Morse (All Modes): Throwable Jammer effective range radius increased from 7m to 10m.
Morse (Operations): Throwable Jammer interference effect duration increased from 2s to 3s; Delayed Flashbang flash duration significantly increased.
Tempest (All Modes): Drill Charge fuse duration increased from 2s to 3s.
Tempest (Warfare): Roll Takedown Score and Emergency Engagement Score reduced from 75 to 50.
Vlinder (Warfare): Flutter Rescue UAVs cooldown increased from 90s to 120s; UAV Quick Rescue Score reduced from 50 to 25. Med Drones Heal Squadmate Score reduced from 20 to 10.
Sineva (Warfare): EOD Set PC View Port HP increased from 150 to 200, Mobile View Port HP from 100 to 150. Damage Reduction Effect increased from 30% to 50%. Bullet Blocking Damage Score and Explosion Blocking Damage Score increased from 35 to 50.

Weapon Balance Adjustments

Operations:

M7 Battle Rifle: Tidal Ultra-Long Barrel Combo stability reduced from +6 to +3.
MK47 Assault Rifle: Ember Barrel first stage damage falloff multiplier increased from 0.85x to 0.9x.
ASh-12 Battle Rifle: Basic Handling increased from 52 to 57.
K437 Assault Rifle: Lancer Long Barrel Combo handling penalty reduced from -7 to -2; Integrally Suppressed Barrel handling penalty reduced from -10 to -5; K437 45-Round Extended Mag handling penalty reduced from -8 to -4.
MK4 Submachine Gun: Deep Space Chrome Barrel hip fire accuracy increased from -8 to +4, stability reduced from +6 to +3.
MP7 Submachine Gun: HVK Combat Kit removed effective range penalty; range intervals adjusted from 12m/18m/24m to 20m/27m/40m. CT Enhanced Stock stability reduced from +4 to +2, hip fire accuracy increased from -16 to -8.

Warfare:

MP7 Submachine Gun: Damage falloff multiplier reduced from 0.8x/0.7x/0.6x/0.5x to 0.75x/0.65x/0.55x/0.5x.
Compound Bow: Basic Reserve Ammo reduced from 50 to 30.
M82 Sniper Rifle: Basic Reserve Ammo increased from 10 to 20.
QBZ95-1 Assault Rifle: Damage increased from 22 to 23.

Warfare Balance Adjustments

Akh Canal:

Objective B: Defending team's redeploy position adjusted to ease pressure on the attacking team; capture areas for Objectives B1 and B2 expanded.
Objective D: Capture area for Objective D2 expanded; two Assault Vehicles added for the defending team.

Bug Fixes & Optimizations

Fixed occasional firing issues with the LAV-AA.
Fixed font color issues on the History screen.
Fixed unbalanced positions in Zero Dam.
